1. Programme variants
A programme variant is automatically created when a programme is added to a training session. However, all these variants do not appear in the Programme Library. The reason for this is to prevent its being overloaded and to ensure that the overview of programmes easy to read. As you continue using Digiforma, more and more variants will be created, so there may be many of these within just a few months.
Only variants that have undergone major changes will be displayed in the Programme Library. These are variants that have undergone changes in the following fields:
Programme description
Educational objectives
Potential clients
Previous requirements
Monitoring and evaluation of results
Educational resources
Training content
The remaining variants, which have either not been modified or are minor (i.e. have had changes to other fields that are not mentioned in the list above) will not appear in your library so as not to overload this page.
A Word of Caution
⚠️If you delete the original programme from the training session, the variant will disappear from the Programme Library.
⚠️ If you delete the variant, the programme will disappear from the training session.
2. The programmes themselves
If you edit a programme that is linked to one or more training sessions from the Programme Library (to find out which ones are linked, check that they have a "stamp" with the session name), the edits you make will be updated in the programme available in the library but will not be made within the training session.
3. Clones of programmes
You can also use the duplicate option; this allows you to clone a programme in order to save time when creating a new one, by recovering the information from the latter (consider renaming the cloned programme to differentiate it). Any modifications you make to the original programme will have no effect on the clone.
