In Digiforma, assign skills to your programmes and your trainers to facilitate the sorting and monitoring of your training courses.

Add new skills

To create skill areas, go to the "Settings > Skill areas" tab. Add as many skill areas as you would like:

Add skills to a trainer

Once you have created skill areas, you can then assign these skills to your trainers. To do this, go to your Database, and select a trainer to whom you would like to add skills. Once in their trainer profile, click on "Add skills."

The list of skills you have saved in your "Account > Skill areas" tab will then appear and you be able to select them.

You can also add new skills to the overall skills list by clicking on "Managing Skills:"

Add skills to a programme

First, navigate to the Library > Course programmes tab using the left-hand menu:

To assign a skill to a new programme, you will choose to create one from scratch or "without blocks." Once inside, the creation menu will look like this:

Scroll to the bottom of this menu, open the part marked "Skill Areas," and click on ‘Add skills,’ and the various skills registered in your account will be displayed:

You can also add new skills by clicking on "Manage:"

Sort trainers by skills

To sort your trainers by skills, then go to the "Data > Trainers" tab and select the "Skills" column to display them:

Use the search field in the "Skills" column to sort trainers with a specific skill or sort them alphabetically:

Display training sessions on your calendar according to training skills

The Digiforma calendar allows you to display training sessions over a specific period, filtering in particular according to the skills of your speakers.

To do this, first navigate to Home > Planning calendar > Schedule

Once inside, use the arrows in the filters bar to navigate to the right until you see "Trainer skills" section (formerly the "Competences of the trainer” section).

Finally, select the desired skills within the “Trainer skills" section.
